Must Bring

1. Your Admission Ticket

Sign in to My SAT and click “Print Admission Ticket”

2. Two No. 2 pencils and a soft eraser

3. Photo identification

Which current and valid photo ID will you bring?

Some acceptable examples include:

  • State-issued driver’s license
  • State-issued nondriver ID
  • School identification card
  • Passport
  • Government-issued ID
  • School ID Form prepared by your school

4. Acceptable Calculator

Calculators permitted while testing are:

  • Graphing calculators
  • Scientific calculators
  • Four-function calculators (not recommended)

Not permitted as a calculator:

  • Laptop or a portable/handheld computer
  • Calculator that has a QWERTY (keyboard-like) keypad, uses an electrical outlet, makes noise or has a paper tape
  • Electronic writing pad or pen-input-driven device
  • Pocket organizer
  • Cell phone calculator

5. A watch without an audible alarm

6. Extra batteries and backup equipment

7. A bag or backpack

8. A drink or snacks (for your break)

What NOT to Bring

  • Scratch paper
  • Notes, books, dictionary
  • Cell phone, pager, personal digital assistant, iPod, MP3 Player, Blackberry, any other digital or electronic equipment.
  • Highlighters or colored pencils
  • Camera or other photographic equipment, portable listening or recording device
  • Separate timer or any kind of watch with audible alarm
  • Compass, ruler, protractor, or any kind of aid
